Enhanced bearing values, self-lubricating, good cjhemical resistance and temperatures from below freezing to just above 200 degrees f. Widely used for chain sprockets, wear pads, conveyor guides and various threaded components. Non-marking, this material accepts ink stamping and painting and can be ultra-sonicly welded. Can be fabricated with common woodworking tools. . |

Molybdenum disulfide,filled bearing grade material is an alloy of toughtradional NYLON and is filled at the factory with a complex dry moly lubricant to increase bearing value and extend lthe materials' life above oridinary NYLON. . Color may vary from gray to almost black, depending on manufacturer. Excellent general purpose material for applications where load is too high for UHMW, temperatures do not exceed 200 degrees f. And mild chemical exposure may be needed for cleanup or processing. NYLON md is really a plastic workhorse when low cost, self-lubricating, tough material is required, especially if fabricatring or machining is required. |
