More Information
30% glass reinforced ULTEM®® is a high temperature plastic commonly called polyetherimide. Or more commonly, pei. It is an amorphous, high-performance plastic with exceptional flame and heat resistance properties. It performs continuously to 340°f (171°c), making it ideal for high strength and/or high heat applications. When you need consistent dielectric properties over a wide frequency range, consider ULTEM®® 2300 in rod or plate. It is hydrolysis resistant, higher resistance to acidic solutions and a product capable of withstanding multiple autoclaving cycles, ULTEM®® 2300 might be your solution. This glass filled version of natural ULTEM®® provides greater rigidity and improved dimensional stability while maintaining many of the useful characteristics of the unfilled material. |
