Measure Twice, Cut Once
Since custom cuts and fabricated parts are non-refundable, be very careful while measuring your dimensions. As each cut is nominal, even the slightest miscalculation could be costly.
How to Use a Measuring Tape
Extend your tape measure several inches to find the 1 and 2 inch markers. In between the inch markers you’ll find 16 equally spaced tick marks.
Measure by counting the increments beyond the nearest inch. As the increments decrease, so does the length of the mark. For example, 1/2" has a bigger mark than 1/4" which has a bigger mark than 1/8". The smallest mark follows at 1/16". Please be aware that some measuring tapes may have even smaller increments.
Features of a Measuring Tape: Sliding End Hook
The sliding end hook is designed for two different types of measurements. An outside measurement (where the hook of the tape hangs over an edge), requires the hook to slide out a bit to account for the thickness of the material. When making an inside measurement (where the hook will push up against a surface), the clip slides in, again, accounting for its thickness. The measuring tape self-adjusts to guarantee an accurate measurement (as far as the tape is concerned).
Sanitizing Acrylic and Polycarbonate Sheet [X]
Acrylic and Polycarbonate Sneeze Guards and like products require special care while cleaning and disinfecting. To maintain the optical clarity of sneeze guards and other acrylic or polycarbonate items, use an acrylic or polycarbonate safe cleaner like Novus Plastic Polish #1, Brillianize Plastic Cleaner, or a mild soap solution.
Please reference the following compatible cleaners when DISINFECTING acrylic and polycarbonate items. The use of commonly available commercial alcohol or ammonia-based disinfectants may cause crazing and damage.
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic is ideal for when excellent rigidity, hardness and heat resistance are required. This thermoplastic is produced in varying grades for a wide range of features and applications. ABS plastic can be processed by any of the standard thermoplastic processing methods and is easily machined.
Tough and Rigid ABS plastic is known for its toughness, rigid thermoplasticity and strength. ABS is easily machined and ideal for turning, drilling, milling, sawing, die-cutting and shearing. ABS can be cut with standard at-home power tools, and line bent with standard heat strips.
Heat Resistant ABS is heat resistant and impact resistant. It performs well at low temperatures and operates under a wide temperature range and low heat conductivity. ABS also has high chemical, corrosion and abrasion-resistance, and a good dimensional stability.
High Chemical Resistance ABS parts are resistant to many materials and chemicals, making it versatile and usable in many conditions.
Attractive ABS plastics are used in thermoforming applications where heat-induced flexibility and physical appearance are preferred. Its high-impact resistance in combination with hardcell-textured surface makes ABS plastics ideal for consumers in need of an attractive faceplate.

ABS plastics come in both machine- and extruded grades. There are a variety of applications for each.
Machine Grade ABS Machine grade ABS is compression molded, or extruded, and then annealed via gradual heating and cooling to minimize internal malfunctions that tend to be hazardous for machining. Machine grade ABS is available in thickness of 1/4" or 3/8" and can cost up to four times as much as an extruded grade plastic. Applications may include usage in industrial and consumer products.

Extruded Grade ABS Extruded grade ABS is not heat-treated. It is unsuitable for most close tolerance machined parts, where machine grade would be better suited. Extruded grade ABS is available up to 3/8" thickness, and is generally more cost effective than machine grade products.

Bought almost $600 worth of cut ABS in smaller plates. All cut shorter and came inbox without any padding so the material is scratched and unusable. Will never buy again, after all, Curbellis cheaper and more precise.

I use .118 and .060" plate purchased in 24x24" sheets to build replicas of sci-fi movie and video game weapons and props from scratch,as well as tools, jigs, and replacement parts for antique motorcycles. SO far this is the best, most consistent extruded product I've found, with regards to density, dimensions, and thermal characteristics. I think some of the other people selling precut chunks are using stuff doped with styrene, or at least not alloyed very well. It really doesn't hurt that the pricing in 2x2' sheets is so reasonable.

Make sure not to abrade the ABS because it will melt and gum up. Thats the nature of the material... Otherwise was pleased and will be purchasing again.

The texture is true to the photo. This ABS is a lot different from the machine grade so make sure you know the difference. However, this ABS is still very very easy to cut and drill.
