King ColorCore® Multi-Color Engravable HDPE Sheets
King ColorCore® is a multi-layer HDPE sheet available in custom cut-to-size dimensions, featuring a contrasting core that eliminates the need for painting or laminating in outdoor signage and marine applications.
What is King ColorCore®?
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) King ColorCore® is a versatile, durable and colorfast plastic used commonly for signage applications. It is environmentally and UV stabilized to withstand even the harshest outdoor conditions and can be used in areas that are washed often or regularly exposed to moisture. HDPE King ColorCore® can be fabricated using common woodworking tools and techniques.
Unlike other signage materials where color is achieved through lamination, HDPE King ColorCore® is manufactured by a unique PolyFusion process that fuses various layers of color into a single homogeneous sheet, which embeds color into the plastic. HDPE King ColorCore® is guaranteed not to delaminate, crack, or chip.
King ColorCore's® thin cap layers (approximately 10% of the thickness on each side) and bright primary colors (approximately 80% of the core) make it the ideal material for signage, marine, playground and other recreational applications. A thin cap also makes King ColorCore® easy to engrave.
Scratch resistant King ColorCore® is UV stabilized to resist deterioration in harsh outdoor environments as well as marking by pens, markers and spray paint. King ColorCore® can be cleaned easily with regular household cleaners.
King ColorCore® is available in several gauges and a rainbow of matched colors. Custom colors are available by custom order.
