As per our Shipping and Returns Policy, custom cuts and fabricated parts are non-returnable. If you need an over- or undersized item, note it under "Comments" during Checkout. Cut-to-size orders have an acceptable cut tolerance of 1/8" (0.125"), so clarify if the adjustment is to be made on the (+) or (-) side of the saw blade. Please review our full return and shipping policy here.
Measure Twice, Cut Once
Since custom cuts and fabricated parts are non-refundable, be very careful while measuring your dimensions. As each cut is nominal, even the slightest miscalculation could be costly.
How to Use a Measuring Tape
Extend your tape measure several inches to find the 1 and 2 inch markers. In between the inch markers you’ll find 16 equally spaced tick marks.
Measure by counting the increments beyond the nearest inch. As the increments decrease, so does the length of the mark. For example, 1/2" has a bigger mark than 1/4" which has a bigger mark than 1/8". The smallest mark follows at 1/16". Please be aware that some measuring tapes may have even smaller increments.
Features of a Measuring Tape: Sliding End Hook
The sliding end hook is designed for two different types of measurements. An outside measurement (where the hook of the tape hangs over an edge), requires the hook to slide out a bit to account for the thickness of the material. When making an inside measurement (where the hook will push up against a surface), the clip slides in, again, accounting for its thickness. The measuring tape self-adjusts to guarantee an accurate measurement (as far as the tape is concerned).
Sanitizing Acrylic and Polycarbonate Sheet [X]
Acrylic and Polycarbonate Sneeze Guards and like products require special care while cleaning and disinfecting. To maintain the optical clarity of sneeze guards and other acrylic or polycarbonate items, use an acrylic or polycarbonate safe cleaner like Novus Plastic Polish #1, Brillianize Plastic Cleaner, or a mild soap solution.
Please reference the following compatible cleaners when DISINFECTING acrylic and polycarbonate items. The use of commonly available commercial alcohol or ammonia-based disinfectants may cause crazing and damage.
UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is a common machinable plastic known for durability, versatility and cost-effectiveness as well as abrasion, impact and chemical resistances. UHMW plastic features a molecular weight that ranges from 3.1 million to 100 million grams per mole, with an abrasion resistance that continues to improve as molecular weight increases.
Reprocessed UHMW is an eco-friendly and economical alternative to standard virgin UHMW that uses a blended version of virgin and recycled UHMW. Reprocessed UHMW is excellent for non-food applications and offers all the benefits of standard UHMW at a much more cost effective price. Reprocessed UHMW features the same low coefficient of friction as standard UHMW while also offering a slightly better wear resistance. Reprocessed UHMW is used extensively for chain guides, wear rails, chute liners, truck liners, hopper liners and many other applications where excellent wear properties are required. The standard color of reprocessed UHMW is black, but also comes in green.
Machinability & Tolerance Warnings: There is some inherent stresses in the material so if you need tight tolerance parts you may want to consider a material such as acetal. Standard diameter tolerance of the rods is ?10% This material can be machined and should not shrink due to the machining process. UHMW expands and contracts considerably with temperature change. Other materials are available if you need a lower coefficient of linear thermal expansion. Call our experts at (888) 768-5759 for more information or questions about what materials to use for your application.
Low Coefficient of Friction Reprocessed UHMW is used in applications where high levels of friction are likely to arise including conveyor guard rails, augers and wear strips, belt scrapers, chain guides, and idler rollers. Due to an extremely low coefficient of friction, its inherent lubricity minimizes heat-generating friction that tends to gradually destroy steel parts, and ensures smooth, noiseless operation.
Self-Lubricating Formula High durability, low friction and wear resistance are key reasons why reprocessed UHMW is the material of choice for a myriad of applications. Reprocessed UHMW offers an extremely low coefficient of friction due to a specialized built-in lubricant that replaces unwanted grease and oil. It also enhances efficiency and productivity in many applications. Reprocessed UHMW's self-lubricating formula helps to extend part life because the internal lubricant ensures that parts will not break or need replacement.
Warning: This product may have sharp edges and points. Contact may result in injury. Handle with care.

Reprocessed UHMW can be fabricated to make wheels, component parts, pinion gears and flanged rollers. It has seen applications as diverse as railroad cars, spacecraft and hydroelectric plants.
Reprocessed UHMW is not approved for food contact.

Used this on my person as knee/elbow/hand guards for rock climbing. bought a 1/4in repro sheet - custom made the PPE with it. Surper light, super tough and Easy to cut and mold. Love this stuff

price is great, cutomer service is aleays spot on! we use the repro for a huge variety of parts. so diverse and very affordable

The cut won't be quite as nice as the picture, I can tell you that. However for machining purposes it's a good material and Interstate Plastics offers a fair price.

It arrived days before expected and we will be ordering again in the future. Very high quality.

Shipping was expensive. Otherwise OK.

Their preview image is really spot on. Just your usual UHMW at a great price.

Perfect for skids on my jeep and ATV. I thought my oil pan was toast for sure this last weekend. The UHMW saved me from a hard vertical impact coming down on a sharp rock.

The repro works for us just as well as the virgin uhmw and the repro has a much better price point.

Just got out this weekend on the RZR with my new skids... oooohhweeee the UHMW can take a beating!
