Ultem^® 2300 PEI is an extruded 30% glass-reinforced high temperature plastic (generic name polyetherimide or pei for short). It is an amorphous, higher-performance plastic exhibiting exceptional flame and heat resistance character. It also performs well continuously to 340°F (171°C) and is ideal for high strength and/or high heat applications.
