Polyphenylene Sulfide sheet and rod, otherwise known as PPS and also sold under Quadrant's brand Techtron^® PPS, is a partially crystalline material that offers high mechanical performance and excellent heat and chemical resistance, with service temperatures that range up to 464°F. Excellent hardness, rigidity, dimensional stability and creep resistance make PPS a popular material in industrial, construction and automotive industries.

Due to impressive strength and cost-effectiveness, PPS bridges the gap between partially crystalline materials and PEEK plastic. Generic PPS sheet and rod comes available in virgin (unfilled) or 40% glass-filled grades.
