      Understanding the Ratings

      A
      Excellent / Resistant:
Material is unaffected. Recommended for continuous use.
      B
      Good / Fair:
Minor swelling or weight change may occur. Recommended for intermittent use.
      C
      Not Recommended / Fail:
Severe "attack" occurs. The plastic may soften, dissolve, crack, or decompose.

      * "Attacked" indicates a chemical failure where the material absorbs the chemical (swelling), dissolves, or becomes brittle (embrittlement).

      Quick Reference Guide
