How do I locate a specific product or material on your website?

Many popular products and materials are listed in categories on the front page at interstateplastics.com. All plastics and accessories can be found on the Shop All Materials page, or searched for using the search field at the top of the page.

How do I get a quote?

Use the "Get A Quote" link at the top of the page, or call one of our plastics experts at (888) 768-5759. Clicking the "Get a Quote" link will take you to a quick and easy quote form. Please include your contact information and a description of what you need quoted. You may attach an image or PDF file that will help in answering your inquiry. We will be sure to respond to you in a timely matter. Please allow up to two business days for a response.

How do I order online?

Placing an order is easy. Here are the steps you need to follow to place an order. If you have any problems when following these steps, please give us a call at (888) 768-5759.

  1. Add the Items to Your Shopping Cart

    If you want to order an item from interstateplastics.com, click the "Add to Cart" button on the item's product detail page. Once you've added an item to your Shopping Cart, keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the "Your Cart" link at the top right of every page of our website.

  2. Proceed to Checkout

    Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, click on "Remove" below the price of the item. If you want to update the quantity, you may also do so here.

    When you're ready to place an order for everything in the "Shopping Cart" section of your cart, you may enter a promotional code (if available) by entering the code in the Promotional Code box underneath the Subtotal. Enter your zip code and email, then click the "Continue" button to calculate shipping costs and your order's total price.

    If this is your first purchase through the Interstate Plastics website, you will be prompted to verify your email address. This is a one-time process.

  3. Enter Shipping Information

    Tell us where you would like to ship your order. If you are shipping to an APO or FPO address, please call us at (888) 768-5759 for further instructions. If you are shipping to a post office box, please enter the words "PO BOX" before your box number to ensure that the order is delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.

    Note: Interstate Plastics assumes addresses are commercial and have a forklift available; you must check the box indicating you are shipping to a residential address if there is no forklift available, or indicate a residential address in the Comments field. Learn more by reviewing our Shipping and Returns Policy. If residence is not properly disclosed and we incur additional fees, we will charge the account on file.

  4. Provide Billing Information

    If billing information is same as the shipping information, check the "Billing address same as shipping" box to copy the information over.

  5. Disclaimer and Order Verification

    Once you have read and agreed to the disclaimers at the bottom of the Shopping Cart, check the box and click the "Secure Checkout" button to continue to order verification and payment.

  6. Provide Payment Information

    Next, verify that your order summary looks correct. Then click on the "Pay by Card" button to enter your card information and pay for your order. Interstate Plastics accepts Net 30 terms on approved credit, AMEX (American Express), MasterCard, Visa, or Wire Transfer. For orders by check, please contact our customer service staff at (888) 768-5759. No C.O.D. is available.

  7. Review and Submit Your Order

    Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click on the "Pay" button to submit your order.

Do you have a minimum purchase amount?

There is no minimum purchase amount; however a $50 processing fee is applied to all online purchases under $200.

What methods of payment does Interstate Plastics accept?

We accept American Express (AMEX), MasterCard, Visa, Wire Transfer, checks, and Net 30 terms on approved credit. For orders by check, please contact our customer service staff at (888) 768-5759. No C.O.D. is available.

What are your standard sizes?

Most materials have a standard full sheet size of 48 x 96" or 48 x 120". Our cut-to-size calculator allows you to purchase custom sizes for most materials. Some materials are available in larger sheets - call (888) 768-5759 for pricing and availability.

Full and optimal size sheets are returnable. Utilizing our cut-to-size service waives the ability to return material for a refund. If the material is damaged in transit, YOU MUST REFUSE SHIPMENT. DO NOT SIGN FOR DAMAGED MATERIAL. If you are unsure of full or optimal sheet size, please see our Shipping & Returns Policy or contact our customer service staff at (888) 768-5759.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Please allow 24-48 hours for this order status information to become available. Orders placed for non-cut-to-size stock items typically ship within 2 business days. Cut to size orders will be subject to warehouse cutting schedules and typically ship within 3-5 business days. Travel times vary by your shipping point and destination; the average is 4 business days for non-cut-to-size items. Out of stock inventory may take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Accelerated shipping is available. Blue label ships in two days plus cutting time. Please contact us (888) 768-5759 for details and costs.

Can you ship my (parcel) order internationally?

Interstate Plastics ships worldwide. Available products, shipping rates and fees vary depending on the delivery address for your order. Your packages may be subject to customs fees and import duties of the country to which your order ships. These charges are the recipient's responsibility. Please call (888) 768-5759 for rates to your country. Freight (non-parcel) is case by case but many times we are able to ship only to a freight forwarder.

International shipments can only be shipped through UPS or USPS, unless otherwise specified by the customer to use their account. Our shipping through USPS is limited to flat rate boxes. Please call (888) 768-5759 if you wish to use your own shipping account. NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS WILL BE SHIPPED INTERNATIONALLY.

What credit terms do you offer?

We offer Net 30 terms to customers based on credit background.

We also offer wholesale pricing for volume-based purchases; if you order over certain amounts on various products, we will be happy to offer a discount. Please call us for more information on credit terms and/or wholesale pricing.

What is your return policy?

Standard stock and optimal size items are returnable if undamaged and in unused, new condition. Items will be inspected to ensure the item is in new condition; credit cannot be issued until product is received and inspected in our facility. Cut-to-size, machined and non-standard items are not returnable or refundable. If we cut it, you own it! Cut-to-size products include any material that is cut below its standard sheet length or optimal size. Full sheet sizes are normally 48" x 96" or 48" x 120". Optimal sizes generally include 12" x 24", 24" x 48", 48" x 96" and 48" x 120". If you are unsure of full or optimal sheet size, please contact our customer service staff at (888) 768-5759.

Returns must be requested within 30 days of shipment and require prior written approval. Only unused, unmodified stock material in resalable condition is eligible for return. Cut-to-size, fabricated, custom, or non-stock material is non-returnable. Final return eligibility is at the sole discretion of company management.

Damaged materials must be refused on delivery and reported to Interstate Plastics within 7 days. Please review the Inspection & Damage Claims section of our Shipping & Returns Policy for more information regarding damaged materials.

If your item is damaged beyond use, give Interstate Plastics a call at (888) 768-5759 and provide details about the damage to your item. You'll also have the opportunity to tell us if you wish to request a refund or receive a replacement item. Contact us for mandatory authorization number. ISO requirements allow no exceptions. Credit cannot be issued until product is received and inspected in our facility.

  • Standard stock and optimal-size items may be returned within 30 days if in like new, undamaged condition.
  • Standard stock and optimal-size items may be returned via freight or mail, or dropped off in-person at an Interstate Plastics facility.
  • All returned items incur a 35% restocking fee, plus cost of freight. Quality issues are exempt from fees.
  • Items will be inspected to ensure they are in like new, undamaged condition. Credit cannot be issued until the product has been received and inspected.
  • Refunds may take up to 14 days before they are fully processed and completed.
  • Non-optimal cut-to-size materials and fabricated parts are non-returnable and non-refundable. Cut-to-size orders include any material that is cut below standard or optimal sheet size and have an acceptable cut tolerance of 1/8" (0.125").
  • Rods and tubes may only be returned in standard lengths of 4', 5', 8', 10', and 12'. All other lengths are considered non-optimal.
  • Semi-finished plastics may come with scuffs and small scratches as the surface is not protected during stocking and loading. This is not considered a quality issue for the purposes of returns.
  • All refund requests for interstateplastics.com orders must be received in a written format (email, letter) to be considered. Verbal requests for refund will not be acted on until a refund request is received in writing.
  • Adhesives and any hazardous materials are not returnable or refundable and all adhesive and hazardous material sales are final. All adhesives ship from Interstate Plastics' Sacramento location. No overnight shipping or air freight will be provided for hazardous material shipping.
  • Returned items must be in new and unused condition. Tools, welding tools, blades, drills, bits, sample packs and all accessory items will be inspected to ensure the item is in new condition. Items must be returned with all original packaging and/or accessories. Individual samples are non-refundable.
  • Contact Interstate Plastics for the required return authorization number. ISO requirements allow no exceptions.
  • Credit cannot be issued until product is received and inspected at an Interstate Plastics facility.

My product arrived damaged, how can I get a refund?

Give us a call at (888) 768-5759 to give us details about the damage to your item. You'll also have the opportunity to tell us if you want to return the item for a refund or receive a replacement item. Contact us for mandatory authorization number. ISO requirements allow no exceptions. Credit cannot be issued until product is received and inspected in our facility. See our Shipping and Returns Policy for more information.

What is your standard tolerance on cut-to-size orders?

All pieces included in cut-to-size orders are nominal cuts. A nominal cut is the specified cut size minus the thickness of the saw blade. The blade thickness is generally 0.180" for most materials, and as wide as 0.220" on harder to cut materials. For example, a cut-to-size order of a 12" x 12" plastic sheet should be expected to arrive 0.180" smaller in the width and height dimensions, plus or minus a tolerance of .125". This does not affect the thickness. If a specific tolerance is needed, call to speak with a plastics expert at (888) 768-5759 and we will be sure to accommodate your order.

Do you do custom fabrication and machining?

Yes! We perform custom plastic fabrication and machining, meeting almost any requirements. Our vast experience and working knowledge of ANSI, AGMA and metric standard parts make Interstate Plastics your source for made-to-order parts and custom fabrication and machining. Send us your sample, sketch, drawing or CAD file (AutoCad, Solidworks, etc.) for a speedy, competitive quote. We use only the finest materials and with state-of-the-art CNC routers, mills and lathes, Interstate Plastics is positioned to fabricate the simple to the complex- parts from over twenty feet long, five feet wide and ten inches thick to parts that fit on a pin.

Why is my credit/debit card being declined?

How do I cancel my order?

Orders that have already been processed and executed cannot be modified. Call us at (888) 768-5759 see if your order has been processed or executed. See our Return Policy for more information.

Do you accept C.O.D.s?

We do not accept any Cash/Collect on Delivery options.

Will any of my personal information be sold or shared?

Interstate Plastics knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we're not in the business of selling customer information. The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your experience on our website. Will you charge sales tax on my order?

We collect sales tax in WA, CA, TX, AL, IA, and ID.

Is your product made in the US?

Most of our materials and products are manufactured in the United States. Although we make every effort to sell products primarily manufactured in the United States, we also sell some products specifically designed overseas. Our quality control division ensures every product that comes in and leaves our distribution center meets standards that Interstate Plastics can stand behind.
